Pupil Premium Funding – The Department for Education (DfE) provides additional funding, known as Pupil Premium, in order that specific groups of pupils, who may be disadvantaged by virtue of their family circumstances, can be supported in their progress and attainment. Year 7 Catch-Up Premium Funding – This is additional funding provided for each Year 7 pupil who has not achieved National Curriculum Level 4 in reading and/or maths at end of Key Stage 2. See below, details of how this is used at Hillside:
As final payments of the Year 7 Catch-Up Premium were made in relation to the 2019 to 2020 academic year, this is the last year on which schools must report how this funding was used.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Catch-Up Premium Funding – This is additional funding provided to support children and young people to catch up lost time after school closure due to Coronavirus; especially important for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds.
