Home Learning activities in this area include ways to practice Mathematics skills, including counting, shape, colour and measuring. There are also activities relating to Science, Geography and History.

Chester Zoo: Follow Chester Zoo’s Virtual Zoo Day Live videos on YouTube.


Colchester Zoo: Live and pre-recorded videos of the animals daily suitable for all ages.


Elmwood Park Zoo: While Elmwood Park Zoo is closed, they are bringing the zoo to you and your family with Zoo School Live! Stay connected with them through their Facebook live broadcast, weekdays at 11.ooam. During each session, their education team will highlight one of their ambassador animals. If you can’t watch the videos live, they will still appear on Facebook, their YouTube channel, and on their website.


Woodland Trust: The Woodland Trust have got Nature Activities to do at home with kids. Might be nice to do on your daily walks or in the garden.
