All admissions are arranged by Suffolk County Council's Local Authority Inclusion Family Services Team in discussion and agreement with families, Hillside and the pupil's current setting.
We currently offer provision for pupils from Reception up to Year 11 (up to Year 14 for pupils with a PMLD diagnosis). All pupils will already have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in place and a diagnosis of either Severe or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD or PMLD).
Hillside would not be suitable for pupils without an EHCP or who have a diagnosis of Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), as we are not able to offer appropriate provision to meet their needs.
Please contact the Inclusion Family Services Team (details below) to find out about school admissions, how to apply and about appeal arrangements.

Visits to the school
If you are interested in your child attending Hillside, please discuss your situation with Suffolk County Council's Inclusion Family Services Team first. If after this, you feel Hillside might be appropriate for your child, please contact us and we will be happy to arrange for an informal chat and a tour of our school on our of our termly 'Open Days' for prospective families. To ensure the safety of all our pupils, visits to the school are by pre-arrangement only, so please always contact us in advance to book your space.
