Site Manger
Overview
We are seeking a reliable, proactive and experienced site manager to help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for the pupils, staff and visitors.
Personal attributes
Although the working pattern is described as above, the ability to be flexible to support the needs of the school and to respond to ad-hoc responsibilities is required.
We expect you to be the first point of contact for all services, maintenance and emergency work carried out. To be the first point of contact in emergencies e.g. alarm sounding out of school hours and to be proactive in keeping the school site to a high standard.
An understanding and compassion for the pupils is a must as they are the focus of everything we do at Hillside. Confidentiality, professionalism and the ability to think on your feet is a must. A good sense of humour, a considerate and cheerful nature and a positive ‘can do’ attitude are all essential.
Hillside is a very successful school and we place the pupils at the heart of everything we do; we expect the same of all our staff. There are currently 102 pupils on roll.
Salary
Pay Scale and Points:
Grade 4, Point 1-4
Contract Type and Working Hours
Required from: As soon as possible
Contract type: Permanent Contract (subject to a six-month probationary period)
Contracted Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year,
- Annual leave entitlement is 24 days. (After 5 years this rises to: Grades 1-4: 28 days and Grade 5+: 29 days).
- Entitled to the eight public holidays. Leave is normally to be taken during school closure periods.
- Working hours expected to be: 7:00am to 10:00am and 14:00pm to 18:30pm 5 days a week.
